Job Summary:
As a Data & Reporting Developer, you will design, build, and maintain SQL-based data solutions that power reporting and analytics across Blitt and Gaines, P.C.'s systems. This role focuses on developing stored procedures, queries, and data structures that support internal reporting platforms and business intelligence tools.
You will work closely with the Manager of Data Operations and other development team members to ensure data is accurate, performant, and structured appropriately for reporting and analysis. This role will also support Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions as part of the firm's broader data strategy.
This is an experienced technical position with opportunities to expand into broader data engineering and analytics responsibilities. You will report to the Manager of Data Operations and collaborate with developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data-driven insights.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements: • 2+ years of professional experience working with Microsoft SQL Server. • Strong proficiency writing complex SQL queries and stored procedures. • Experience optimizing SQL queries. • Experience supporting or building SQL-based reporting solutions. • Familiarity with Power BI or other business intelligence tools. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and datasets. • Experience working with Azure DevOps, Git, or similar source control systems. • Familiarity with dimensional modeling or data warehouse concepts. • Experience working with large datasets or high-volume transactional systems.
Nice to Haves: • Familiarity with Collection Master software • Experience in the litigation or collections industry • Experience supporting operational or financial reporting environments
