Job Description: Data Science and Analytics Specialist! Duration: 9 month with possible extension/conversion to full time Location: Merrifield, VA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $60 - $72 per hr. Specific compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors.

Position Description: We're looking for a highly skilled PEGA Data Science and Analytics Specialist to support the rapid implementation of new CDH (Customer Decisioning Hub) modeling features. In this role, you'll build the analytics foundation that powers smarter, more personalized member experiences, develop reusable scripts, standardize data processes, and deliver insights that elevate decisioning across Marketing, O&A, and Model Health teams.

You'll create a library of queries/scripts for replicating CDH contextual objects, build standardized data‑retrieval frameworks, and develop notebooks focused on distribution analysis, arbitration analysis, and channel engagement. You'll also partner closely on model performance work, KPI development, and monitoring strategies that guide enterprise‑wide initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience with Databricks, Python/PySpark, and SQL
  • Pega CDH experience highly preferred
  • Background in model performance analysis, KPI development, or customer interaction analytics
  • Ability to create reusable notebooks for distribution, arbitration, and engagement analysis
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working across Marketing, O&A, Model Health, and other cross‑functional teams
