Akkodis is seeking a Data Science and Machine Learning Specialist for a Contract with a client in Allen Park, MI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets and building machine learning models to uncover trends and drive data‑driven decisions.
Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Science and Machine Learning Specialist Job Responsibilities include:
Analyze business requirements and large datasets to support data‑driven decision making.
Design, build, and deploy machine learning and predictive analytics models.
Apply advanced analytics techniques to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data.
Develop scalable data pipelines and data preparation methods to improve model accuracy.
Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver production‑ready analytics solutions and APIs.
Continuously research and apply new data science, ML, and analytics techniques to enhance outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or machine learning roles.
Strong hands‑on experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced analytics using Python.
Proven ability to deliver production‑ready data solutions, including scalable models, APIs, and collaborative codebases.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
