Duration: 06+ Months with Possible Extension.
Pay Range: $55-$60/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML and Generative AI solutions that drive marketing, customer engagement, and business growth. The ideal candidate will combine deep expertise in data science, machine learning, and cloud technologies with strong leadership capabilities to guide a team of data scientists and deliver scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

This role requires experience in the insurance or financial services industry, strong Python and SQL skills, cloud-based machine learning (preferably Azure), and exposure to modern Generative AI technologies including RAG, vector databases, and LLMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Data Scientists delivering AI/ML solutions.
• Own technical design, architecture, project delivery, and production stability.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to prioritize and execute AI use cases aligned with business goals.
• Design, develop, train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models.
• Build predictive analytics models to improve customer engagement, marketing effectiveness, revenue generation, and business outcomes.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA), feature engineering, and anomaly detection using SQL and Python.
• Develop scalable AI and ML solutions using cloud platforms such as Azure and Azure Machine Learning.
• Build APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications.
• Implement MLOps best practices including CI/CD, model monitoring, versioning, and automated deployment.
• Develop and optimize Generative AI applications including:
  • Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
  • Chatbots
  • Document Question & Answering
  • Summarization
  • Knowledge Retrieval
• Integrate vector databases and external knowledge sources into LLM applications.
• Ensure responsible AI practices including governance, bias mitigation, privacy, and model monitoring.
• Present analytical findings and recommendations to executive leadership using compelling visualizations and storytelling.
• Stay current with emerging AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• 8 10+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Customer Analytics.
• Proven experience deploying production-grade ML and AI solutions.
• Strong expertise in Python for Machine Learning development.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and feature engineering.
• Experience with:

  • Azure Cloud Services
  • Power BI
  • Domino Data Lab (preferred)
• Strong understanding of:

• Experience with REST APIs and microservices.
