We are seeking a highly agile Data Scientist / Data Analyst to support a growing biotech patient services technology organization. This individual will operate in a hands-on, multi-functional role supporting operational reporting, data modeling, and emerging AI platform initiatives within a highly regulated healthcare environment.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in smaller, fast-moving environments where flexibility, ownership, and the ability to wear multiple hats are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and operational reporting solutions
  • Support data modeling initiatives to enable broader analytics and AI platform development
  • Partner on the buildout of AI-enabled data capabilities and platforms
  • Work across multiple concurrent initiatives rather than being dedicated to a single project
  • Support technology initiatives related to patient services operations
  • Analyze data sets containing sensitive patient information (PII / PHI) while maintaining compliance with regulated healthcare standards
  • Collaborate in a lean team environment where priorities may shift and flexibility is expected

Required Experience

  • Experience in a Data Scientist, Data Analyst, or hybrid analytics role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI
  • Experience with data modeling
  • Exposure to or experience supporting AI / analytics platform initiatives
  • Background within pharmaceuticals, biotech, or life sciences
  • Understanding of working with regulated healthcare data environments
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced setting

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in patient services
  • Experience in broader healthcare delivery organizations (e.g., healthcare services, distribution, payer/provider-adjacent environments)
  • Experience with organizations handling sensitive healthcare data and compliance requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

The right person is:

  • Highly adaptable and comfortable wearing multiple hats
  • Hands-on and execution-oriented
  • Comfortable in less rigid, evolving environments
  • Able to work independently with minimal structure
  • Open to shifting priorities without resistance
