As a data scientist or senior data scientist on the Customer Relationship Management team, you'll analyze and develop algorithms for technology solutions that solve business problems and improve operational efficiency. You'll leverage structured and unstructured customer data to build, test, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models. In this role, you'll partner closely with business and technical collaborators to translate customer insights into actionable recommendations. You'll also support the deployment and ongoing monitoring of data-driven solutions within customer-facing processes.

This is a remote position requiring occasional travel for meetings and/or training.

Minimum qualifications

• A minimum of three years of relevant experience in statistical/quantitative modeling and/or machine learning tools and in using various database tools processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher with quantitative focus in Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics).

Preferred skills

• Hands-on experience developing and optimizing prompts for Generative AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar frameworks.
• Proficiency in cleaning, transforming, and preparing structured and unstructured datasets for Generative AI applications.
• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks, including tokenization, vector embeddings, and enhancing generative AI outputs.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure OpenAI, deploying and scaling AI solutions, and familiarity with data warehousing tools like Snowflake and their integration with Generative AI workflows, including configuring environment variables for API authentication.
• Basic understanding of ethical considerations in AI, including bias mitigation and model fairness, and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Generative AI into broader data science projects.

Compensation

• $74,000 - $119,500/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
