Salary Range: $144,000 – $216,000

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10 years of modeling experience, including 3–5 years of model development and model testing experience.
- Master's degree required; Doctorate preferred in Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, SAS, or similar languages.
- Experience working with large datasets and relational databases.
- Prior work experience in mortgage valuation and statistical modeling.
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 5 years applying predictive modeling techniques or advanced analytics to large datasets.
- Experience developing and implementing statistical models.
- Experience with big data technologies, including Apache Spark and AWS cloud environments.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Develop mortgage prepayment, default, and severity models used to assess market risk.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and assess impacts of model updates and input changes.
- Provide analytical support for trading and hedging activities.
