Job Description & Responsibilities:

Paladin Consulting is currently hiring a Data Scientist to work onsite at our client's office located in The Woodlands.

• Collaborate with Financial Planning, Analysis & Performance Optimization, and IT to transform raw data into strategic insights.
• Utilize advanced analytics to improve processes, enhance decision-making, and deliver tangible value.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for performance improvement.
• Develop and implement predictive models and machine learning algorithms to align with business objectives.
• Work with IT and cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into existing systems and workflows.
• Create and maintain dashboards and reporting insights for stakeholders.
• Identify and develop future AI use cases across the organization, driving innovation and shaping the company's long-term Data Science and AI strategy.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in developing and deploying Data Science solutions, including customer segmentation, pricing, optimization, and experimentation.
• Strong expertise in statistical modeling, supervised machine learning, experimental design, and optimization.
• Proficiency in analytics tools such as SQL, Git, Python, Spark/PySpark, and Tableau.
• Experience with analytics platforms like Databricks and data pipeline development (AWS Glue is a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to drive P&L impact through analytics.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and other departments.
• Bonus: Familiarity with Pigment or similar business planning tools.
