Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of industry experience in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to drive data-driven decision-making. The position is onsite in Menlo Park, California, requiring three days per week in the office. This is a 6-month contract with potential extensions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Apply statistical and quantitative tools or techniques to interpret data and generate insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define business objectives, key results (OKRs), and success metrics.
• Design and develop high-performance visualizations, reports, and dashboards.
• Communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through compelling narratives.
• Develop and implement predictive and forecasting models using techniques such as regression, clustering, and classification.
• Evaluate and refine models based on performance metrics to generate actionable insights.
• Formulate hypotheses and develop comprehensive research plans to address business questions.
• Conduct research using appropriate methods to test hypotheses and answer research questions.

• 10+ years of industry experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches.
• Proficiency in defining metrics, monitoring key metrics, and conducting exploratory analysis.
• 10+ years of experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL), scripting languages (e.g., Python), and/or statistical software (e.g., R).
• Strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Pay Range: $100 - $110 on W2
