Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data architecture, governance, and Microsoft data platform solutions
- Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and SQL Server
- Collaborate with clients to assess data needs, define requirements, and deliver strategic recommendations
- Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT workflows
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams on Microsoft data best practices
- Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives across client environments
- Communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Data Consultant or Data SME in a professional services or consulting environment
- Deep expertise in Microsoft data technologies including Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, and/or Synapse Analytics
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes
- Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred
- Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical data solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a consulting setting
