Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Data Solutions Architect for a Contract with a client in Santa Clara, CA. The ideal candidate will lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and cloud-native data platforms that support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and multi-tenant environments.
Rate Range: $60/Hour to $64/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Data Solutions Architect Job Responsibilities include:
Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of cloud-native data platforms, data warehouses, and lakehouse solutions to support enterprise analytics and AI/ML initiatives.
Design and implement secure multi-tenant data architectures, including tenant isolation, provisioning, lifecycle management, and policy-based access controls.
Develop scalable real-time and batch data pipelines, ensuring high performance, reliability, and low-latency data processing across cloud environments.
Establish and enforce data governance, security, compliance, data lineage, cataloging, and access management standards across the platform.
Collaborate with business, engineering, infrastructure, and security stakeholders to translate requirements into architecture roadmaps and technical solutions.
Drive platform optimization, innovation, and best practices while mentoring engineering teams and enabling advanced analytics, AI/ML, and data-sharing capabilities.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
12+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Cloud Data Platforms, and Enterprise Data Solutions.
Extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud-based data platforms, data warehouses, and lakehouse architectures using technologies such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, or Synapse.
Proven expertise in multi-tenant architecture design, data governance, security and compliance frameworks, ETL/ELT solutions, and leading large-scale enterprise data transformation initiatives that support analytics, AI/ML, and business growth.

Pay Details: $60.00 to $64.00 per hour
