Data Specialist 2

Location: Meridian, Idaho (Onsite)

Role Overview

We are seeking an organized and adaptable Data Specialist for a 3-month assignment to provide maternity leave coverage. This role involves providing administrative support for a database system within a pediatric referral pipeline. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional who can manage critical scheduling, handle patient and provider communications, and contribute immediately in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of advanced administrative and support services for a database system.
  • Organize, enter, and maintain the integrity and security of data.
  • Manage scheduling and communication with patients and providers.
  • Extract and import data as needed for reporting requirements.
  • Handle and troubleshoot moderately complex issues, referring more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Train other staff as users of the system.
  • Maintain thorough documentation to ensure accuracy across systems.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Experience: Possesses solid working knowledge of the subject matter, with a background in administrative support and data management. Must be an adaptable self-starter who can multi-task and pivot between various tasks.

Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and swift navigation of computer systems are required.

Additional Skills: This position requires high accountability, a calm demeanor under pressure, strong organizational skills, and meticulous documentation abilities. Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach are necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Epic is considered a major asset.

This position requires the ability to work onsite in the Treasure Valley.
