Position SummaryWe are seeking a Data Systems Engineer to join our growing organization. This role will support the Director of Data Systems in designing and delivering scalable data solutions that enable business analytics, reporting, and data integration.The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern data platforms and a passion for building reliable, high-quality data systems. This role offers a collaborative work environment with opportunities for both in-office and remote work.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise data platforms (data lake, warehouse, and lakehouse environments)Partner with business stakeholders and product owners to develop reporting solutions, data extracts, and data modelsBuild and maintain data pipelines and ETL/ELT processesEnsure data quality, integrity, and consistency across platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and AzureSupport data visualization and reporting initiatives, including Power BI dashboards and semantic modelsDeliver project objectives on time, within scope, and with a high level of qualityContribute to data governance, standards, and best practicesExperience & EducationBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience5+ years of experience writing complex SQL queries and working with data models2+ years of experience developing and maintaining ETL/ELT processesExperience with modern data platforms, including Microsoft Fabric or similar cloud-based solutionsTechnical Skills & ToolsPower BI and Power PlatformPythonDAXMicrosoft Dynamics D365 (preferred)Advanced SQL (T-SQL)Excel (advanced data manipulation)Development tools such as VS Code and SQL Server Management StudioCore CompetenciesAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and commitment to data qualityAdditional RequirementsAbility to travel as neededValid driver's license with a clear driving recordSuccessful completion of background check and drug/alcohol screening#J-18808-Ljbffr
