Job Summary and Responsibilities
Under direct supervision, the incumbent is responsible for accounts receivable and the development, operation, and maintenance of program data processes and systems. The incumbent is responsible for timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of all required program documentation and reports. The position reports to the Senior Director Operations of Dignity Health Connected Living
- Coordinates, prepares the billing, tracking and reconciliation of expenses and payments for various agency programs ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Ensures the timely, accurate and complete development of all required California Department of Aging documentation and reports
- Performs various administrative duties such as typing and data entry of client information, generation of reports/lists in a professional and accurate manner
- Maintains various client files, vendor contracts and services in a confidential and accurate manner
- Performs customer and client contact via phone, computer or in person by taking messages and/or referrals in a professional manner and appropriately answers the inquiry or ensures referral to the appropriate person
- Assist the organization in the operation and maintenance of program data processes and systems, working closely with Dignity Health IT. Works with staff concerning training on computers, software, Internet and E-mail usage
Job Requirements
Required
- High School diploma/GED
- Three years of data entry and word processing and general office experience
Preferred
- Other Coursework in business/secretarial skills and computers.
- Additional college level courses in health/social services and/or accounting are desirable.
- Previous experience working with the public in health/social services programs.
- Previous Med Cal or medical billing and accounts receivable experience
