Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends. This position participates in a regular on-call rotation and may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends to support operational needs.

$50,400 - $75,720

About this Position

The Database Administrator serves as a member of the IT Enterprise Operating Systems team and works under the direction of the Assistant Manager for Database Application Support to provide operational and technical support for the Oklahoma State University/A&M Banner ERP Oracle database environment, application software and integrated systems.

This position supports and maintains the university's Banner ERP database environment and related systems by installing, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications, databases, and automated processes. The position also ensures system reliability, data integrity, security, and operational support while collaborating with developers, end users, and IT teams to support enterprise technology services.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''s (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
• Two (2) years of related experience.
• Additional post-secondary education beyond requirements may substitute for years of required experience.
