Hansen Talent Group is hiring a Database Administrator to support enterprise reporting, analytics, and data management initiatives within a large enterprise. 

This role is ideal for a data professional who enjoys working with complex datasets, developing impactful dashboards, analyzing healthcare information, and providing actionable insights that drive operational and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess strong SQL and Power BI expertise, along with experience working within healthcare and government environments.

This is a remote role

What You'll Do

• Design, build, maintain, and enhance standard, recurring, and ad hoc reports using SQL, MySQL, Power BI, and related reporting tools
• Extract, transform, analyze, and manage data from multiple structured and unstructured data sources
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and reporting solutions that provide meaningful business insights and operational visibility
• Utilize performance analytics to create trend analysis, predictive forecasting, performance measurement, and data-driven recommendations
• Analyze large healthcare datasets to identify patterns, opportunities, risks, and business outcomes
• Partner with business stakeholders to define reporting requirements and ensure delivery of accurate and actionable information
• Provide consultation and guidance regarding metrics, reporting methodologies, dashboard design, and data interpretation
• Train and mentor users and peers on reporting tools, dashboard development, and analytics best practices
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, reporting standards, and operational procedures
• Validate data accuracy, troubleshoot reporting issues, and ensure reporting integrity across multiple systems
• Work through ambiguous business requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytics solutions
• Support ongoing reporting optimization and continuous improvement initiatives

What You'll Need

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Experience developing reports and analytics solutions using SQL, working with Power BI + large and complex datasets
• Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
• Experience working within a government environment + experience supporting Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Strong understanding of healthcare data, medical terminology, and healthcare business processes
• Experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into reporting solutions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deliverables in a fast-paced environment
• Experience providing training, consultation, and guidance to end users and business partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) environments
• Familiarity with HL7 healthcare data standards and integrations
• Experience with SQL Squirrel
• Experience with Mirth Connect
• Experience supporting PACS systems
• Experience with CIPS platforms
• Experience working with NextGen EHR
• Experience working with Epic EHR
• Experience supporting healthcare reporting, interoperability, or clinical data initiatives
