The client is seeking an experienced Database Administrator with strong Data Warehouse and ETL expertise to support enterprise database environments, data warehouse initiatives, and reporting platforms. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database planning, implementation, optimization, maintenance, performance tuning, data integration, and warehouse development activities.
This role requires extensive experience with enterprise databases, ETL tools, data modeling, reporting platforms, and data warehouse architectures. The candidate will collaborate with technical and business teams to ensure high-performance, scalable, secure, and reliable data environments.
Design, implement, administer, and maintain enterprise database environments.
Support development and maintenance of enterprise data warehouses and data marts.
Design and optimize database structures to ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.
Develop and maintain ETL processes and data integration workflows.
Implement and support data warehouse architectures and analytical reporting environments.
Monitor database performance and perform tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting activities.
Support database backup, recovery, security, and disaster recovery processes.
Design and implement data models including Star Schemas, Snowflake Schemas, and normalized structures.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and develop solutions.
Support reporting, analytics, and decision-support environments.
Assist with database migrations, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries and metadata repositories.
Support analytical and business intelligence initiatives.
Ensure compliance with organizational security and data governance standards.
Participate in system planning, architecture reviews, and design sessions.
Develop technical documentation and operational procedures.
Support end-user reporting and data access requirements.
Assist with troubleshooting complex database and ETL issues.
