Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server and IBM DB2 database objects, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, scripts, and database code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting, including query optimization, Explain Plan analysis, locking, deadlock, and concurrency issue resolution.
Design and implement database schemas, data models, and relationships to support business and application requirements.
Develop, support, and maintain ETL, data integration, migration, and data extraction processes across multiple data sources.
Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery standards are consistently maintained.
Collaborate with application development, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into effective database solutions .
Participate in the full database lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, deployments, upgrades, release management, and technical documentation while promoting database best practices and standards.
