VARITE is looking for a qualified Database Administrator (IT-IT Infrastructure) for one of its clients located in Sacramento, CA

Job Title: Database Administrator (Onsite – Part time)
Duration: 04 months
Location: Sacramento, CA
Work Mode: Onsite
Pay Rate Range: $90.00 - $100.00/hr on W2
Desired Candidate Daily Availability: 2-3 days per week 4-8 hrs each day
 
HERE'S WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• A Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and security of database systems.
• They ensure databases are available, reliable, and performant. DBAs also work to protect databases from unauthorized access and data breaches.

 
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO WIN:
Skills Needed:

• Strong understanding of database concepts and technologies, such as relational databases, SQL, and database management systems.
• Experience with database administration tools and utilities.
• Ability to work with large datasets and complex queries.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

 
Optional skills:

• Programming skills (Python, R), knowledge of cloud computing platforms, domain knowledge in relevant industries

 
Required Skills:

• MS Access, Quick Base, Client PHD

 
Must Have:

• CTS
