Role Description The Database Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database systems that support Starbucks’ business operations in Colorado and beyond. Daily tasks include monitoring database performance, implementing backups and recovery procedures, managing user access and security, and ensuring data integrity. The Database Administrator will design and update database schemas, handle data migrations, and support replication across environments. The role also involves diagnosing and resolving database issues, collaborating with application and infrastructure teams, and documenting database configurations and processes.\n
