Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong T-SQL skills and prior experience in the telecom domain. The ideal candidate will manage SQL Server databases that support telecom operations, including billing systems, network data, and customer information. This role requires both technical expertise and domain knowledge to ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity across complex telecom environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain SQL Server databases for telecom systems.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Monitor system performance and proactively address potential issues.
Handle database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with telecom regulations.
Collaborate with telecom application developers, analysts, and stakeholders.
Implement and maintain data security protocols.
Support real-time data processing and reporting requirements common in telecom systems.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA.
Strong hands-on experience in T-SQL development and optimization.
Prior experience working in the telecommunications domain.
Knowledge of telecom systems such as billing, CRM, provisioning, or mediation platforms.
Experience with database performance tuning, indexing, and capacity planning.
Familiarity with database backup, restore, and high-availability configurations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
