This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII's Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. Job Description

HII's Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations.

The selected candidate will contribute to a high-impact government program focused on enhancing and securing mission-critical systems and environments. The program is scheduled to launch in early 2026 and due to the classified nature of the mission and the sensitivity of the operational environment, an active TS/SCI security clearance will be required. We will be hiring several people for these roles at various levels with salary ranges outlined below:

Database Architect Salary Ranges:

• Database Architect 1: $71,000 - $100,000
• Database Architect 2: $95,000 - $125,000
• Database Architect 3: $134,500 - $165,000
• Database Architect 4: $155,200 - $205,000

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Designs, models, documents, and guides the logical and conceptual relationship of data and database changes for complex applications.
• Analyzes needs and requirements of existing and proposed systems, and develops technical, structural, and organizational specifications.
• May create standards and/or do modeling to monitor and enhance capacity and performance.

Minimum Qualifications

• Database Architect 1: 0 years experience with Bachelors; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
• Database Architect 2: 2+ years relevant experience with Bachelors; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
• Database Architect 3: 6+ years relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Database Architect 4: 9+ years relevant experience with Bachelors; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.

Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start. Must be able to obtain a CI Poly

Physical Requirements

• May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
• Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
