Database ArchitectTarget Salary: $95K to $105KLOCATION: DLIFLC, 1759 Lewis Road, Monterey, CA 93944Position Overview:The person in this position is responsible for performing analysis, modification, documentation, and support of daily operations for the data warehousing and reporting system.Job Duties:Responsibilities include supporting the data development/sustainment lifecycle, including data profiling, ETL and data model design and development/sustainment, testing, and support.The duties will include planning, installation, maintenance during or after-work hours, troubleshooting, and managing all Database Developer servers and applications.Achieves organizational goals by defining, integrating, and upgrading a comprehensive architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases.Maintains database by determining structural requirements and developing and installing solutions.Ensures security of all information and computer systems and digital data.Ensures adherence to government regulations and guidelines for technological systems and safeguarding of data.Defines infrastructure for design and integration of internet computing systems by analyzing information requirements, studying business operations and user-interface requirements, and directing development of physical database.Confirms architecture capability and flexibility to support high availability web applications by developing analytical models and completing validation tests.Determines platform architecture, technology, and tools.Job Requirements:Educational requirements include an AA/AS Degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university or three years of related experience.Minimum of 5 years of experience designing and developing data warehousesProven track record of successfully implementing complex data warehouse projectsExperience with relational database design/modeling using tools.Expert-level SQL coding/querying skills in SQL Server and/or MySQLProficient in SQL and advanced SQL query optimization techniquesExpertise in data warehouse technologies like Snowflake, Redshift, or TeradataKnowledge of ETL tools and methodologiesFamiliarity with data modeling concepts (dimensional, star schema, snowflake schema)Understanding of data analysis, business principles, and operationsSoftware architecture and designNetwork design and implementationAbility to clearly present technical information to fellow technical professionals as well as non-technical peersRequired to Start Qualifications:IAT Level II Certification is required to Start (CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) CertificationA NACLC Public Trust Clearance is required to Start.Company DescriptionDexian Government Solutions is an award-winning, ISO 9001:2015 certified, business and GSA contract holder providing diversified Information Technology services to both Civilian and Defense agencies.
