We are seeking an Database Developer to join a collaborative technology team supporting business-critical applications. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build a career in database development while working alongside experienced team members. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to learn new technologies in a dynamic environment.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, modify, and maintain database code and APIs using SQL and Oracle technologies.
  • Review, analyze, and document existing database code to support application enhancements and ongoing maintenance.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, and manipulate data.
  • Support the development and maintenance of core database objects, including triggers, indexes, and sequences.
  • Assist with troubleshooting database-related issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members on application enhancements and development initiatives.
  • Manage multiple assignments while adapting to changing priorities.
 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Systems, or a related Engineering discipline with a strong information systems background (completed or in progress).
  • Working knowledge of SQL, including joins and aggregate queries.
  • Understanding of fundamental relational database concepts such as triggers, indexes, and sequences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate work.
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to adapt in a collaborative environment.
