SUVI Global Services is looking for a Database Engineer to support IT across all DoD OIG networks.

Responsibilities

+ Responsible for the design, implementation and optimization of enterprise databases across hybrid on-premises and Azure cloud environments.

+ Oversee database administration, performance tuning, high availability, disaster recovery and integration with Microsoft 365 services.

+ Set technical direction, ensure security and compliance standards are met, and guide cloud migrations using Azure SQL, managed instances, and related services.

+ Drive automation initiatives, mentor junior engineers, and provide Tier-3 escalation support for complex database issues.

+ Acting as both a technical expert and team leader ensures scalable, secure, and reliable data platforms that support enterprise applications and business intelligence.

Qualifications

+ Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

+ Minimum 8-10 years in an IT related field.

+ Active IAT Level II certification or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Major in Information Technology.

+ Certifications: Oracle OCP, Microsoft SQL Expert.
