Creating passion: your responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance)
• Good T-SQL skills (query development, performance analysis, troubleshooting)
• Experience in performance tuning and query optimization
• Solid knowledge of backup, restore, and recovery models
• Hands-on experience with High Availability and Disaster Recovery (e.g. Always On, clustering)
• Strong understanding of database security (permissions, roles, auditing)
• Automation skills using T-SQL and PowerShell (e.g. SQL Agent jobs, maintenance tasks)
• Good knowledge of Windows Server and basic infrastructure (storage, networking, Active Directory)

Contributing your strengths: your qualifications

Qualification and Education Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science / IT or comparable qualification (or equivalent practical experience)

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience as SQL Server DBA or in a similar role

Preferred Skills / Special Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and sense of responsibility
• Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams
