Our client, a leading HVAC, building automation, and intelligent climate solutions company, is looking to hire a Database/ETL Developer in Beverly, MA (Onsite).
Duration: 12 Months plus
Pay Rate Range: $65-$75/hr on W2, depending on experience
Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain databases, data warehouses, data marts, and related systems.
Gather and analyze data requirements before database and ETL development.
Design and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models using Dimensional/Star Schema, Data Vault, or 3NF methodologies.
Develop, deploy, and orchestrate scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools such as Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
Integrate data from multiple internal and external sources and deliver clean, reliable datasets.
Develop and maintain enterprise Data Warehouses and Data Marts for various business needs.
Create and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
Monitor daily data loads, troubleshoot pipeline failures, and optimize SQL queries and ETL processes for performance and reliability.
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and perform database performance tuning.
Support and enhance existing data warehouses, reports, system integrations, SSIS packages, and data tools.
Collaborate with Program Managers, Solutions Engineers, business users, consultants, and other stakeholders to define requirements and deliver data solutions.
Participate throughout the project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, prototyping, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and support.
Leverage AI/ML tools and LLM APIs to improve data pipelines, automate data cleansing/transformation, and enhance predictive data modeling capabilities.
Work within the Azure cloud environment to deploy and manage enterprise data solutions.
Proactively identify issues, improve processes, and apply creative problem-solving and rapid prototyping techniques.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Development, Database Development, or a similar role.
Strong experience with relational and dimensional data modeling, including Fact and Dimension tables.
Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and/or SSIS.
Strong experience developing Power BI dashboards and paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder.
Experience with modern cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift, or traditional platforms such as SQL Server.
Experience with Azure cloud administration, including deploying and managing enterprise solutions.
Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines and data integrations.
Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with the ability to quickly identify and resolve data pipeline and database issues.
Experience leveraging AI/ML tools or LLM APIs for data engineering, data cleansing, transformation, or predictive modeling is preferred.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
