Position Overview & Responsibilities

The Gift Management team is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Database Records Specialist to support the accurate processing and maintenance of donor information. This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of the donor database and the proper designation and acknowledgment of gifts using Salesforce. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Enter data related to donations, gifts, and donor information in Salesforce
  • Maintain database integrity by verifying and categorizing gift details, including type, biographical data, and research designation
  • Analyze gifts to determine appropriate designation to campaigns, appeals, or research programs
  • Prepare and send daily gift receipts and notifications to donors and honored parties or families
  • Run reports to support data accuracy and donor acknowledgment processes
  • Conduct research using the internet and print directories to validate or supplement donor and gift information

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Superb attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer one (1) year of data entry experience. Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs is preferred.

Work Hours
Typically, Monday through Friday from 8:30AM to 5:00PM.
