Role: Databricks Architect / Lead
Location: Remote

We are seeking a Databricks Architect / Lead to drive architecture, design, and technical delivery for PBM UDAP initiatives in the healthcare domain. This role will lead solutioning and modernization efforts across key workstreams.
This role will own end-to-end architecture for modern data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and Medallion Architecture, with strong hands-on knowledge of Python, PySpark, SQL, Kafka/event streaming, system design, workflow orchestration, DevOps, data governance, and data modeling. The Architect will be expected to define technical patterns, guide platform decisions, improve performance and reliability, and mentor engineering teams delivering enterprise-grade data products. Experience with Databricks pipelines, performance tuning, catalog concepts, serverless, GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, and Prefect is highly valued.
