What You'll Do:
Learn to set up and operate Davenport multi-spindle screw machines
Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed
Perform quality inspections using measuring tools and gauges
Load raw materials and maintain proper machine operation
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and notify supervisors of larger concerns
Read and follow work orders, blueprints, and specifications
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
Manufacturing or machine operator experience preferred
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Ability to read measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers is a plus
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
