Austin Radiological Association (ARA) is seeking a motivated Academic Radiologist to join our dedicated teaching team at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin. This is a rare opportunity for a radiologist who is passionate about education and mentorship to practice in a traditional academic environment without the demands of call, nights, weekends, holidays, or RVU-driven productivity expectations.

The Opportunity

As an Academic Radiologist at Dell Medical School, you will play a key role in educating and mentoring radiology residents while practicing within a highly collaborative academic environment.

One of the biggest differentiators of this opportunity is the schedule.

Monday through Friday. Daytime hours. No call. No nights. No weekends. No holidays.

There are also no RVU minimums, allowing physicians to prioritize thoughtful interpretation, resident education, and mentorship rather than volume.  For physicians who want additional earning opportunities, optional private pay-per-click work may be available outside scheduled academic shifts.

ARA and Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin are working together to help redefine how diagnostic imaging is designed, delivered, and leveraged to improve patient health.

Currently, ARA serves 24 hospitals and operates 18 outpatient imaging centers, with expansion plans underway to grow to 19 outpatient imaging centers by the end of 2026. Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology by the ABR or AOBR
• Strong interest in teaching and resident education
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to clinical excellence and collaborative practice
• Eligible for Texas medical licensure

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $400,000–$850.000
• Annual discretionary bonus eligibility
• Commencement & Retention Bonus Available
