Position Summary

D & A Building Services is seeking a dedicated Night Janitor to join our team in Clearwater, Tarpon, Largo and St. Petersburg. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who takes pride in maintaining clean, well-organized facilities and enjoys working independently. You'll be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks across our properties, ensuring that every space meets our high standards of cleanliness and safety. This position offers consistent evening hours and the opportunity to make a visible impact through your skilled, detail-oriented work.

Main Responsibilities

• Cleans and services restrooms.

• Sweeps, vacuums, and mops floors and stairways.

• Gathers and disposes of rubbish and waste materials by hand or with the use of powered equipment.

• Dusts such items as blinds, furniture, file cabinets

• Polishes furniture, metal work and chrome using appropriate cleaning and polishing compounds.

• Washes wall, ceiling, woodwork, windows, mirrors, and fixtures using both step and extension ladders.

• Cleans grounds and parking lots of litter, glass, or other debris.

• Loads and unloads supplies, and move heavy furniture and equipment using dollies, handcarts, or power equipment.

• Replaces light bulbs and fuses.

• Accept additional duties as necessary in a cooperative manner.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years janitorial experience

• Ability to operate and use janitorial tools, equipment, and supplies such as floor buffers, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning compounds and solutions.

• Ability to stand, lift, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time.

• Physical strength capable of lifting 30 lbs.

• Ability to read and comprehend labels and written instructions.

• Ability to communicate.

• High School degree or equivalent preferred.

• Must have a clean background

Compensation & Schedule

Hourly Salary $15 - $16

• Various schedule offerings including Mon-Fri, Sun-Wed, Thu- Sat
