We are seeking an experienced Biomedical Repair Technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining life-support and patient care equipment. Essential Functions: - Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and verify the functionality of medical equipment using manufacturer specifications and testing equipment.
- Assemble, inspect, clean, calibrate, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on a variety of medical equipment including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, hospital beds, bariatric beds, suction units, and other biomedical devices.
- Maintain accurate service records, preventive maintenance documentation, repair reports, and equipment history in accordance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
- Follow OSHA, FDA, Joint Commission, manufacturer, and company safety standards while performing inspections, repairs, testing, and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with fellow biomedical technicians, warehouse personnel, and customer service teams to ensure equipment is repaired, tested, and delivered on schedule.
- Interface with hospital systems and other customers as needed.
- Full-time, non-exempt position working 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required based on business needs.
Job Requirements: - Associate's degree in Electronics or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience repairing and maintaining medical equipment, including infusion pumps, patient monitors, ventilators, and hospital/bariatric beds.
- Proficient in reading schematics and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance procedures, and technical manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to quality, safety, customer service, and continuous improvement.
- Dependable, highly self-motivated, and committed to quality work.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
