Day by Day Substitute Teachers

Position: Day by Day Substitute Teacher

Reports to: Building Principal

Location: Systemwide; specific location varies by assignment

Job Responsibilities: 1) Reports to classroom(s) and/or other assigned areas in the school as directed. 2) Maintains established classroom routines for all students in the assigned classroom(s). 3) Adheres to established plans as directed by the classroom teacher and/or school administrator. 4) Communicates clearly and efficiently with school administrators regarding concerns.

Required Qualifications (some of which may be completed during the onboarding process): 1) High School Diploma 2) Completed background check including CORI and fingerprinting 3) Submission of the District written interview questions 4) Attendance at a virtual Substitute Orientation session 5) Proof of receipt and understanding of the GPS Substitute Handbook

Salary: Daily pay rate for days worked, not benefits-eligible Non educator certified: $90/day Educator certified: $95/day Retired Grafton Teacher: $105/day
