JRI’s Developing Abilities programs provide comprehensive support for individuals with developmental disabilities, offering services that promote independence, skill development, and community integration.

The Assistant Program Director of Willow Tree Day Habilitation Services will assist the oversite of the day habilitation services at this site for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our day habilitation programs are designed for transition-aged adults and others who benefit from personalized, small-group approach emphasizing community integration and active engagement in meaningful activities. 

Schedule: This is a full-time, in-person role with travel. In this role, you will commute between programs located West of Boston and MetroWest Massachusetts. The main office is located in Framingham, MA.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $21.00 to $26.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications.  This range may be modified in the future. 

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare daily schedule, including staff assignments, individuals and group activities that support goals and objectives of the Day Hab Support Plans.

  • In absence of Program Director, oversees day-to-day operations of program.

  • Maintain accountability and documentation for individual funds.

  • Manage program petty cash funds and submits weekly report of expenditures.

  • Work with the Program Director to coordinate staff training on site and monitor to ensure compliance with policies.

  • Make recommendations regarding evaluation and training of program staff.

  • Upgrade curriculum for group and individual activities.

  • Assist Program Director in day-to-day supervision and training of staff.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in human service or related field.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • At least two years' experience working with people with Developmental Disabilities.
  • First Aid, CPR certification and certification in non-violent crisis intervention and prevention techniques.
  • Ability to work independently without a supervisor or other colleagues present.
  • At JRI, you will learn to provide the safest therapeutic atmosphere for the people we serve!
  • Maintains valid driver’s license and ability to drive consumers in agency vehicles and own a vehicle if necessary.
  • Background and driving record checks will be performed.
