Job Summary:Sweeping Corp of America seeking a mechanically inclined Shop Helper. This is a career entry level job that will support mechanical technicians by retrieving parts for repair and other duties as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain the cleanliness of trucks and support equipmentMaintain cleanliness and safety of the shop and yardPrioritize multiple parts pick‐up and deliveries.Ability to respond to emergency pick‐up and delivery.Pays attention to details and observe safety precautions.Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.Able to identify correct parts, based on part number and shelf location.Assist with inventory control.Help technicians as necessary.Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.Prior delivery/driving experienceMechanical aptitude and industry experience preferredModerate lifting - no greater than 40 lbs.; moderate reaching, pushing, pulling, gripping, and grasping.No fine manipulation or fine manual dexterity required.Ability to stand for a full shift in addition to walking, climbing stairs and bending as required.Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.May be exposed to solvents, chemicals, and refuse.May be exposed to other risks associated with working around machines, tools, and trucks-CDL related
