Day Porter – Nashville Apartment Community

Corporate Cleaning Group is seeking a Day Porter for a premier apartment community in Nashville, TN.

Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–2:00 PM

Pay: $18.00/hour

Position Summary

Day Porters are the friendly, reliable team members who keep facilities looking their best all day long. Day Porters work during business hours, performing light cleaning, restocking, and responding quickly to customer needs. In this role, you’ll be a visible part of the customer's team—helping create clean, safe, and welcoming spaces throughout the day.

This position is located in a residential apartment community and is ideal for someone who is professional, proactive, and comfortable interacting with residents, guests, and property management staff.

What You Will Do

• Daily Cleaning & Disinfection – Perform ongoing tasks such as wiping and disinfecting high-touch surfaces, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and touch-up cleaning throughout the day.
• Restocking & Supplies – Refill restroom products and other consumables to ensure everything is ready for use.
• Respond to Requests – Handle spills, messes, or special cleaning needs promptly as they arise.
• Common Area Care – Maintain lobbies, entrances, elevators, amenity areas, fitness areas, mail/package areas, and other shared spaces so they remain clean and resident-ready.
• Exterior Upkeep – Help maintain exterior common areas by picking up trash and debris and servicing outdoor trash and pet waste stations as assigned.
• Customer Service – Interact with property management staff, residents, and visitors in a friendly, professional manner, addressing small concerns and passing along feedback.
• Safety & Security – Follow all cleaning, safety, and sanitation guidelines. Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or security concerns immediately.
• Team Spirit – Work alongside and support the scheduled cleaning team to help maintain consistent cleanliness throughout the community.
• Operational Excellence – Follow Job Cards, complete task checklists, and help ensure the community is always inspection-ready.
