Day Program Assistant

NeuroRestorative a part of the Sevita family provides rehabilitation services for people of all ages with brain spinal cord and medically complex injuries illnesses and other challenges. In a variety of locations and community-based settings we offer a range of programs including vocational and therapy programs day treatments and specialized services for infants children adolescents Military Service Members and Veterans.

Day Program Assistant - Join Our Caring Team

Monday - Friday | 800 a.m. - 400 p.m.

Starting Pay

16.25hour

Additional 0.50hour for 1-4 years of experience

Additional 1.00hour for 5 years of experience

Preliminary Requirements

Proof of non-probationary drivers license held for at least one year

Ability to attend orientation Tuesday-Friday Daytime

Are you compassionate patient and ready to make a meaningful impact in someones life As a Day Program Assistant you will provide essential support and companionship to our clients helping them live safely and comfortably. This role requires excellent communication skills the ability to follow instructions and a genuine heart for caring.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with bathing toileting and personal hygiene

Transport clients to appointments utilizing company vehicles

Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping

Support wheelchair assistance and safe transportation

Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

Ensure overall safety and well-being of clients

Use proper lifting and bending techniques to physically support clients

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent

6 months to 1 year of experience in human services or caregiving preferred

Valid non-probationary drivers license with no restrictions or provisions

Minimum age 21 years

Successful background check clearance

Caring attitude and dedication to supporting others

Ability and willingness to safely bend and lift to assist clients
