Now Hiring: 1:1 Support Staff – Adult Day Program (Full-Time) San Jose, CA | Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
$22.00/hour | Entry-Level Friendly
Are you compassionate, reliable, and passionate about helping others? Join Spread Your Wings and make a meaningful impact supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in a community-based day program.
What You’ll Do:
Provide 1:1 support to a participant throughout the day
Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility)
Support participation in community outings (parks, stores, libraries)
Implement behavior support plans and redirect as needed
Ensure safety, engagement, and well-being at all times
Ride along during transportation to support the participant
What We’re Looking For:
18+ years old
Patient, dependable, and compassionate
Strong communication skills
Experience in caregiving or behavioral support (preferred, not required)
Comfortable working independently in the community
Able to pass background check & Live Scan
