Position SummaryThe Community Access Group (CAG) Coordinator is responsible for the overall leadership, daily operations, and supervision of the Community Access Group (Day Program). This position ensures the program operates in compliance with DBHDD regulations, NOW/COMP Waiver requirements, CARF standards, and FEHE Enterprises policies while providing high-quality, person-centered services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).The CAG Coordinator provides direct supervision to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), oversees participant services, manages scheduling and staffing, monitors documentation, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a positive, engaging environment that supports independence, community inclusion, and personal growth. This position serves as the primary leader for the day program and works collaboratively with Executive Leadership, Nursing, Human Resources, Quality Assurance, and other departments to ensure operational excellence.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesProgram LeadershipOversee the daily operations of the Community Access Group (CAG) Program.Ensure all services are delivered in accordance with each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP) and person-centered goals.Develop, implement, and evaluate meaningful daily programming that promotes independence, life skills, socialization, and community integration.Maintain appropriate staffing ratios and ensure adequate daily program coverage.Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for individuals receiving services.Staff Leadership & SupervisionSupervise, coach, and mentor Direct Support Professionals assigned to the day program.Conduct regular observations and provide ongoing performance feedback.Assist with interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff.Promote accountability by ensuring employees follow company policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.Address employee performance concerns and partner with Human Resources regarding corrective action when appropriate.Lead team meetings and communicate organizational updates and expectations.Compliance & Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with DBHDD, NOW/COMP Waiver requirements, CARF standards, HIPAA, and FEHE policies.Monitor documentation for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.Review daily service documentation, attendance records, transportation logs, incident reports, and participant records.Assist with internal audits, external surveys, licensing reviews, and quality assurance activities.Ensure incidents, accidents, and concerns are reported and investigated according to agency policy.Participant & Family ServicesBuild positive relationships with individuals served, families, guardians, support coordinators, and community partners.Participate in ISP meetings and interdisciplinary team meetings as needed.Monitor participant progress and identify opportunities to enhance services and outcomes.Address participant concerns while ensuring services remain person-centered and individualized.Transportation & Community IntegrationOversee community outings and recreational programming.Ensure transportation activities are conducted safely and efficiently.Drive agency vehicles as needed to maintain program operations.Encourage community involvement through educational, recreational, volunteer, and social opportunities.Administrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain program schedules, attendance, staffing, and activity calendars.Prepare reports and maintain accurate program records.Monitor inventory and submit supply requests.Communicate operational needs and program updates to Executive Leadership.Assist with budgeting, planning, and continuous program improvement initiatives.Perform other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsAssociate's degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Education, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Bachelor's degree preferred.Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience in human services, healthcare, behavioral health, education, or a related field.Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, lift, and actively participate in daily program activities.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.Ability to travel within the community and between FEHE locations.Ability to safely operate agency vehicles, including passenger vans.Required QualificationsValid Georgia Driver's License with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.Ability to operate agency transportation vehicles as needed.Successful completion of all required criminal background and fingerprint screenings.Ability to meet all DBHDD employment requirements.CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain upon hire.Why Join FEHE Enterprises?The CAG Coordinator is a key leadership position responsible for creating a high-quality, engaging day program where individuals thrive and employees succeed.
