Job Title: East Gate Attendant
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Position Overview
Our client, a large national brewery, is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented East Gate Attendant to work independently at the guard tower within their busy trucking hub. This position is responsible for managing truck traffic as drivers exit the facility, collecting GPS/tracking devices, and serving as an important point of communication for personnel throughout the brewery.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently, is comfortable interacting with professional drivers and facility personnel, and can stay focused while managing multiple responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the security/guard gate by raising and lowering the gate as trucks enter and exit the facility.
- Collect and account for GPS/tracking devices from truck drivers before they leave the brewery.
- Verify that required equipment and procedures are properly followed before trucks depart.
- Serve as a point of communication between truck drivers, transportation personnel, security, and other departments throughout the facility.
- Communicate information clearly and professionally to appropriate personnel.
- Maintain accurate awareness of truck traffic and activity at the gate.
- Follow all company safety, security, and operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area.
- Perform other general duties as needed to support daily trucking operations.
