A small community hospital in beautiful Southern Arizona is seeking a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join its laboratory team on a full-time Day Shift basis.

Responsibilities
The selected candidate will perform testing and laboratory procedures across multiple departments, including:
- Chemistry
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Urinalysis
- Blood Bank
- Microbiology
Additional responsibilities include:
- Quality control and quality assurance activities
- Instrument maintenance and troubleshooting
- Specimen processing and analysis
- Accurate documentation and reporting of results
- Compliance with laboratory and regulatory standards
Qualifications Required
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- ASCP or AMT Certification
- Ability to work independently as a Generalist across all core laboratory sections
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care
Preferred
- Previous hospital laboratory experience
- Generalist experience in a community hospital setting
- Blood Bank experience
