Daybright Restaurant Site Lead (up to 3-year project)

The Chick-fil-A Support Center is launching a new project-based role that is part of the Red Wagon Ventures Team within Marketing department. This Project Full-time role is a TEMPORARY, full-time position up to a maximum of 36 months.

 

Daybright is a new restaurant concept created by Red Wagon Ventures, the corporate venturing subsidiary of Chick-fil-A. First opened in October 2025 in Hiram, Georgia, Daybright offers handcrafted coffee, smoothies, cold-pressed juices, and fresh food. As Daybright’s first location, the Hiram restaurant is where the concept is being developed and tested, and the Site Lead serves in a critical role in building a new concept. 

 

The Daybright Site Lead will act as the day-to-day leader of restaurant operations. This leader must have dynamic leadership skills, strong financial acumen, proven ability to hire and manage a team, and collaboration skills. The Site Lead will frequently partner with the internal concept project team to achieve desired business goals. The position will report to the Daybright Concept Project Leader.

Responsibilities:

Daybright restaurant and team leadership

• Recruit and develop the restaurant leadership team and team members
• Manage a 30+ member team
• Steward culture and team member experience in partnership with the Red Wagon Ventures team and within the company-operated restaurants (“COR”) framework
• Develop and execute a business plan that drives towards the goals of the Daybright project team
• Execute and refine processes for new menu offerings and service models
• Champion continuous improvement efforts across all critical success factors in the restaurant
• Demonstrate disciplined financial management of the restaurant, proactively managing labor and controllable costs against approved targets and flagging risks early

 

Influence the Daybright growth strategy

• Participate in monthly P&L reviews with the Daybright project team, coming prepared with clear drivers behind performance and a plan to address gaps
• Capture insights and lessons learned from day-to-day operations to influence the growth strategy for Daybright beyond the Hiram location
• Recommend changes to processes, procedures, and staffing models based on real experience running the restaurant
• Implement business model changes driven by Daybright leadership, including changes to menu, sales channel strategy, marketing activation, new equipment, technology, and service models
• Grow brand awareness and make local connections by serving as the primary brand ambassador for Daybright in the Hiram community

Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):

• Energized by being a part of a new venture / startup
• CFA Interim Manager, CFA Restaurant Director, or equivalent industry experience with proven ability to hire and manage a large team
• Front of house and back of house restaurant acumen 
• Experience creating, presenting, and executing on new strategic initiatives 
• Strong desire to influence and partner with internal project team
