About the Role:
Luma Learning Center in Woodstock, GA is looking for a passionate and experienced Daycare Director to lead our team and inspire the next generation of learners. Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the childcare facility, ensuring a safe and structured learning environment
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise early childhood educators and support staff
• Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum aligned with early childhood development standards
• Maintain compliance with state licensing regulations, health codes, and safety protocols
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families through open communication and family engagement initiatives
• Manage center budget, enrollment, and administrative functions
• Conduct staff evaluations, professional development planning, and performance management

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field preferred
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a childcare or early education leadership role
• Knowledge of Georgia childcare licensing requirements and DECAL regulations
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Demonstrated ability to manage staff, budgets, and center operations effectively
• Warm, professional demeanor with a genuine passion for child development
