    Overview
    The Goddard School of Jamison is a premier early childhood education center where curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning flourish every day. We believe children learn best through play and hands-on discovery. Our nurturing teachers guide them in a safe and caring environment. We are currently seeking compassionate, enthusiastic, and dedicated Teachersin the Infant Program of our Pennsylvania Keystone STARS 4 rated school which has earned both National Early Childhood Program Accreditation (NECPA) and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) recognition.

    Responsibilities, include, but are not limited to:
    • Establish and maintain a safe, healthy and nurturing learning environment
    • Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence
    • Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance
    • Establish positive and effective family relations
    • Ensure an effective program, responsive to children’s needs
    • Maintain professional commitment
    Qualifications:
    Educational Requirements:
    • High school graduate (at least 18 years of age)
    • Meet the requirements set forth by the state licensing agencies which include, but are not limited to:
    • 2 years experience working with children
    • -or- 1 year experience working with children & 15 credit hours from an accredited college or university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field
    • -or- CDA
    • -or- degree in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education, or the human services field
    Preferred but not required:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
    • CDA credential
    • Previous experience in a licensed child care center or preschool
    • Experience working with toddlers or two-year olds
    All candidates must be able to pass required background checks and health clearances.

    • Monday – Friday
    • Flexible shifts between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM
    • Full-time and Part-time shifts available
    • No nights or weekends!
