Position Title: Daycare Lead
Location: Hamlin Collegiate Elementary ISD Daycare
Salary: Based on local salary schedule
Length of Contract: 12 months
Position Summary:
- Supervise and monitor the safety of children in your care
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to encourage learning and development
- Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child''s progress and daily activities
- Ensure the well-being and physical needs of each child are met, including feeding, diapering, and nap times
- Collaborate with other childcare providers and staff members to create a cohesive and positive daycare experience
- Reports to Elmentary Principal
Position Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Passion for working with children and promoting their growth and development
- Providing a nurturing and educational experience for children in our community
