Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Daycare Teacher – Help Children Build the Skills for Preschool Success
The Learning Experience – East Brunswick is seeking a caring and energetic Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Working with children who are preparing for preschool, you'll help foster independence, communication, and confidence through engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys guiding young learners as they transition from toddlerhood into a structured classroom environment while making learning fun every day.
What You'll Do
- Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom for Prepper-aged children
- Lead age-appropriate activities that encourage language, early literacy, creativity, and problem-solving
- Help children develop self-help skills, confidence, and independence
- Support daily routines, transitions, meals, and outdoor play
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom that meets all licensing and safety standards
- Collaborate with center leadership and teaching teams to provide exceptional care and education
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous experience working in a childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood setting preferred
- Passion for helping young children learn and grow
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
