We are seeking an experienced and energetic Daycare Teacher to join our team! You will be responsible for encouraging children’s intellectual, psychological, and physical growth. Responsibilities:
Plan games and activities that are developmentally appropriate
Design a daily and weekly schedule
Provide basic care and caregiving activities
Evaluate children to ensure they are reaching developmental milestones
Communicate with parents and update them on their children’s activities
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a daycare teacher or childcare provider
Strong understanding of child development
Patient, kind, and nurturing
Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
First Aid and CPR certification
CDA (Child Development Associate), FCCPC, or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
Completion of DCF 45-hour training requirements (or willingness to obtain within required timeframe)
