Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support children’s learning and development.
- Supervise children during classroom activities, playtime, meals, rest periods, and transitions.
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
- Support children’s social and emotional growth through positive guidance and encouragement.
- Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and rest time as needed.
- Observe and document children’s progress, behavior, and developmental milestones.
- Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, coworkers, and leadership.
- Follow all childcare licensing requirements, health and safety standards, and center policies.
