Preschool teachers are responsible for providing early childhood education to children up to approximately five years of age. If you have child care skills and know safety and first aid techniques, you would be a valuable addition to our team of dedicated preschool teachers. We need someone like you, who enjoys working in an environment where quickly adapting to changing conditions and rapidly assessing the needs of young students are important and necessary skills. Teaching in a preschool environment is great for people who love being around children and who have a passion for early childhood education. Responsibilities:
Prepare lessons that meet educational requirements in an age-appropriate manner, and teach in a manner suitable for the ages of all participating students.
Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media etc.) to teach children.
Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem.
Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments.
Address basic interpersonal skills, such as sharing, taking turns, and asking permission in the classroom.
Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers or colors, do crafts etc.).
Organize nap and snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
Provide helpful feedback to parents and guardians on a regular or as-needed basis.
Collaborage with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning and care environment.
Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.
Skills:
Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher.
Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods.
Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms.
Excellent communication and instructional skills.
Ability to act as mediator between children.
Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable.
Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen.
Certification in child CPR.
BSc/BA, CDA in education or relevant field preferred.
Valid Drivers License and High School Diploma.
